Dr. Andres Maldonado

Dr. Andres Maldonado is a medical doctor born in Venezuela, now licensed to practice medicine in Venezuela, Colombia and Spain.

Dr. Maldonado has extensive experience in many fields, among them; scientific research in subjects such as pharmacology, surgery, neuroscience and metabolic diseases. Dr. Maldonado is a complete professional, very proactive in any subject that he delves into.

In free time, Dr. Maldonado is an amateur runner and always available for a good talk and a good cup of coffee.

Dr. Elizabeth Onyinye Mbata

Dr. Onyinye Elizabeth Mbata is a practicing physician in Ecuador, a writer, a health educator, and the health columnist for a digital magazine, Hello Icon Magazine.

Elizabeth earned her medical degree from Escuela Latino Americana University in Venezuela and her master’s degree in occupational health from the Catholic University of Ecuador.

She has practiced as a physician in Venezuela, Nigeria, and Ecuador. In 2020 she was presented an award for the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 patients. She educates people on healthy living through her YouTube channel, All Round Health Talk with Dr. Onyinye.

When she is not working in the hospital, she is giving health talks and writing.

Dr. Rocio Foltran

In 2016 Dr. Rocio Foltran got her Biological Sciences degree and started her PhD studies at the University of Buenos Aires. She worked trying to understand how serotonin and neurotrophic factors modulate the genesis of new neurons in the adult hippocampus. Rocio finally got her PhD diploma in Biomedical Sciences in 2022, and then worked for a year studying the effects of environmental enrichment. Lastly, this year Rocio started her postdoc with a CONICET fellowship, with a project about the role of serotonin in the early origins of psychiatric disorders.

Besides academic work, she’s always been interested in science communication and education, so she published two communication articles and organized the Pint of Science Festival in her hometown of Buenos Aires for two consecutive years.

Dr. Simei Quevedo

Dr. Simei Quevedo is an Argentine physician with extensive experience in the field of medical emergencies. He was an assistant professor in Semiology at the National University of Rosario for three years, contributing to the training of new health professionals.

Dr. Quevedo practices as an emergency physician, applying his knowledge and experience in critical situations. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Quevedo is a medical content writer, sharing his experience and knowledge through writing.

Dr. Eduardo Ramos

Dr. Eduardo Ramos is a medical doctor born in Venezuela. He is a surgical resident at the Department of General Surgery at University of Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Dr. Ramos has experience in medical and surgical research. Some principal topics as general surgery, obesity, metabolic disease, bariatric surgery and cardiovascular risks.

In his free time, Dr. Ramos enjoys practicing tennis or running, and also many sports like soccer or padel. He loves coffee and BBQ and is a world citizen.

Dr. Nancy Taibel

Dr. Nancy Taibel is a seasoned doctor born in Venezuela and graduated from La Universidad del Zulia in 1991, one of the best medical schools in Latin America. She has gathered a lot of experience working as a general medic and as medical coordinator of popular medical attention centers both in rural and urban areas.

Dr. Taibel has also specialized both in military medicine and familiar medicine. As well, her career progression has given her the capabilities to develop and coordinate health plans in Health attention centers.

Dr Nancy Taibel is a dedicated professional, both to her patients and to her work ethic, making her an excellent Doctor and a great person.
